This tiny country with an area of ​​less than 14,000 square meters and a population exceeding 600,000, is one of the most beautiful countries in the entire Balkans. This is thanks to beautiful mountains, picturesque sea corners, cozy villages and towns often with a medieval flavor. The fabulously indented coast of the Adriatic Sea offers numerous beaches, bays and islands.

It is a country with a long tradition, a meeting place of various cultural and religious influences on the border between the Orthodox East and the Catholic West. Traces of human presence date back to the distant Paleolithic times.

Sutomore

This small coastal fishing town has a population of approximately 3,000. It is located in the northern part of the small Bar Bay. The terrain is relatively flat, with high mountains rising up to a few hundred meters from the town.

Nowadays it is one of the main tourist destinations on the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea. The coast is lined with a 1.3 km long city beach, which is a combination of sand, fine gravel and small round pebbles. A promenade runs alongside the beach, lined with cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops. The location of Sutomore is very well known for its rich nightlife and friendly prices.
